Ark Encounter & Creation Museum
Williamstown & Petersburg, KY
Ark Encounter is a Christian creationist theme park that opened in Grant County, Kentucky in 2016. The centerpiece of the park is a large representation of Noah's Ark based on the Genesis flood narrative contained in the Bible. It is 510 feet long, 85 feet wide and 51 feet high. The Ark Encounter is three exhibits in one—the massive Ark structure itself, the incredible craftsmanship, and the beautifully fabricated teaching exhibits. The Ark Encounter is operated by Answers in Genesis, a young Earth creationist organization.
The Creation Museum is located in Petersburg, Kentucky. We invite you to dive into the Bible and the scientific evidence with us to gather as much knowledge about God’s creation as you can. You’ll learn about the different types of science and discover facts and logical arguments you might have never considered. When you start with the Bible as your ultimate authority, you’re ready to discover creation science. The facility has a special effects theater, a planetarium, an Allosaurus skeleton and an insect collection.  The Creation Museum allows you to venture through Biblical history, stunning exhibits, botanical gardens, planetarium, petting zoo, zip line course, and more.
