Ark Encounter & Creation Museum
Williamstown & Petersburg, KY

Ark Encounter is a Christian creationist theme park that opened in Grant County, Kentucky in 2016. The centerpiece of the park is a large representation of Noah's Ark based on the Genesis flood narrative contained in the Bible. It is 510 feet long, 85 feet wide and 51 feet high. The Ark Encounter is three exhibits in one—the massive Ark structure itself, the incredible craftsmanship, and the beautifully fabricated teaching exhibits. The Ark Encounter is operated by Answers in Genesis, a young Earth creationist organization.

The Creation Museum is located in Petersburg, Kentucky. The theme park promotes pseudoscientific young Earth creationist beliefs about the age of the universe, age of the Earth, and co-existence of man and non-avian dinosaurs. The facility has a special effects theater, a planetarium, an Allosaurus skeleton and an insect collection. As the museum employs approximately 300 employees.  The Creation Museum allows you to venture through Biblical history, stunning exhibits, botanical gardens, planetarium, petting zoo, zip line course, and more.

The museum claims it is nonsectarian and "is not political, and it will not proselytize." However, members of the board of directors are required to sign a "faith statement" regarding the truth of the Bible.
Each of the six floors in the museum contain a different exhibit, which emphasizes different aspects of the Bible's history or impact. This includes three permanent exhibit floors. The first floor combines ancient artifacts with modern technology meant to immerse the participant in the Bible. The front entrance on 4th Street SW features bronze front doors with stained glass art containing a relief depicting the creation account in Genesis. There is also a grand lobby with a 200-foot LED ceiling allowing for changing visual effects and messages.
